18 Months!

Lily is a year and a half! I can't figure out where the time has gone. She is growing so quickly and changing everyday.

We had her well child check today. She is doing great, as always! I am grateful to have such a healthy baby!

She is doing all the things she should be doing. Her pediatrician is always impressed by her abilities which makes me quite proud.

Her stats:
height: 31 1/4, " percentile: 50th
weight: 21.4 lbs, percentile: 10th
head: 18 1/4," percentile: 50th

There is a slight concern with the fact that she won't really eat much meat. So, we had to have her blood drawn to have some tests run.

She did a fabulous job getting her blood drawn. Not only did she NOT cry, she didn't even flinch with the poke and let the technician get as much blood from her little thumb as she needed without fighting or pulling her thumb back at all. I was SO proud of her!

That's awesome, Holly. I'm glad I got to spend the day with her. I miss you guys. When do you hear about the results from the blood test?

Zeke doesnt eat a lot of meat either, its really really common in toddlers. I think it has to do with the fact that its just hard to chew when you are so little and dont have many molars.

It is hard to chew, even for me with some meats. I hope she gets over it. I am kinda anti-lunch meat for various reasons but the pediatrician recommended giving her lunch meat sandwiches. I don't care if she gets lunch meat at child care I just don't want to buy the stuff and give it to her myself. It's probably weird logic but, it's my logic. Haha! Her pediatrician asked if she was getting 5 portions of meat a week and I couldn't answer with a yes. I really don't think she does. At least not when she is with us.

Matt! We miss you too! I was thankful to work that day you were here just because it's income but, I was sad I didn't get to have lunch with you too.

It's nice to see she knows who you are when I ask her about you.

I am not exactly sure when we find the results of the blood test. They just said they would call as soon as they got the results. They are pretty good at getting back with us quickly. So, I think it's just a matter of how long it takes the lab.
